...about u :D As its tradition in our other forum (a german gaming community site), we are used to know the people a bit better than just by their nicknames.. I think its more personal, if everybody tells a bit more about his/herselve, kinda like hobbies etc.. and as I opened it, I will start: My Name is Denise, I'm 23 years young and married. My husband (Lord Devil) and I loves to play MMORPGS, fun games on PS2 and PC and everything that has something to do with Final Fantasy. We played Final Fantasy XI, then WoW, then over a year Lineage 2, and now we try to find a new nice MMORPG. I guess Perfect World will become my favorite :D My hobbies are easy: I love to read and write, I'm able to sew my own stuff and on the weekends I like to go to cinema. We have a horse, and we love to spend our time at the stable and well.. in the rest of the day I'm one of the poor workers :D I loose 10 Hours every day with working. (Well, not on weekend puh..) I guess that should be enough.. aahh.. one thing: My native language is German, my English is school and MMORPG mixed, so it's not perfect, but I guess everybody will understand me :D Greetings, first Lady Sciva

Greetings to the first lady I adore your name btw. My name is Sharon, I am 20 years of age and a young mother. I got married when I just turned 19. We have been together for over 5 years to this date. It puts a lot on me being a mother at that age so I can relate with you I am from Long Island, New York born and raised. Grew up here all of my life. I switched from town to town but I always stayed on this Island. I do not have so much pride to where I live....for friends and acquaintances are hard to come by when everyone is out at the clubs :P I have been an on-line gamer since I was 13. I havn't tested out that many games as others, but I had my share of fright and excitement One of the main reasons I enjoy Mmorpgs is because of the role-playing aspect. You can really get into your character if you stop and think about the world you are in. My hobbies are making chain maille jewelery pieces and costume wear. I just began making chain maille with my sister not so long ago, gets fun to do when you are in a creative mode. I also enjoy gemology and am a collector of gems and minerals. Favorite stone being green Kunzite (*eyes bulge*). I love reading and writing poetry, short stories and mind trick books. Religion and my spirituality is very important to me. I love learning of new cultures and the worlds enchantment. One day I hope to go to a ren fair for a week or two to express my devotions I am a kind person and love helping others out. Even if I do not like the person I will still try and help them out. It is just my nature and has always been. I am not a fighter but a peace maker. Sometimes some qualities and personality traits I have make me feel alienated, because either they are extreme emotions or just plainly there in your face. I do not feel human, and hey I am not human but I will leave that for another topic lol later on maybe...One of the reasons I love RPGs I can become the creature I am and be accepted by few

Damn... this thread... why does it remember me so much about our austrian gaming community... oh yes, sciva, my dear... didnt you made this thread there too :D! Well what shalls, I guess there is no way around it. So okay..., but hey I keep it short. I am not the writer part on this forum (twinks at Sciva - I am sure you can do that well  ), I am more of the helper part I guess. So to myselve: I am 27 years old, my name is Oliver and I live together with my beautiful wife Sciva in a little village in Tirol. Well lets say its like living in a city... the main city of tirol is about 5 miles away (we really dont want to move too far away... in the end there isn't any internet available then). Fun aside... my hobbies are playing computer games, especially MMORPGs, don't know why but I think because in good mmorpgs you can influence the world, have fun, meet people, get stronger and stronger and so on... Besides our computer there is our beloved horse, which we take care... it was an ill horse when we bought it, but after a year of walking (yeah walking with it like a dog with the line) and haveing much fun with him, we are greatly on the way to get him as healthy as possible. I guess we spend much time at our horse... since we have it there was NOT 1 single day (I swear), where my wife or me didn't visit him ! However... other things I like to do is going out with friends, mostly to the cinema, or making a nice movie evening etc. BTW my native language is German too (what did you think, kangurous  ), so please be kind to my typing mistakes... Noooo I clicked my exit button to close my music and hit my exit browser button when I was typing a huge introduction of my self *Sad puppy face* Enough of the pouting. Are you ready *music begins to play* Helly my name is Tray and I am currently 20 years of age and in four months I will be 21 *and the crowd goes wild, slightly*. I am currently schooling and in two years I would be home free, But I really know I'm going to miss so. I'm a very friendly person and outgoing. My friends from online and off would tell you I am quite a great person to be around. I just love being nice to everyone even in the worst time things can always be resolved even if it is the worst time. Energectic is also me Genki, A good name I would say energectic in japanese. I tend to try to have a great time and get others to be happy and involved at the same time like a basketball game team if you understand what I mean Point guard of gaming is me. I love learning about new people and different cultures ranging from music,food,life style and personalities. Because everyone doesn't have the same personality and I want to see everyone not literally but mentally. Musical wise I love are forms of music, But I tend to like Trance and Hip Hop. And I would have to say a great place that got me into not only MMORPG's but also into the gaming industry is the site from where I learned about this fourm thanks to Lord Devil - www.onrpg.comFrom this site it helped a lot not only in gaming but helped better me. Yeah sounds pretty chessy but it did really. Mostly due to the interacting with the community which made me understand myself more and how I want to be. Well me stop now but I would like to say I am pleased to see the mature of players coming into the Perfect World. *Bows* Honored to be here. Nice nice... I am always happy to see the community growing and learning some new peoples habits etc. :D ! Just to answer your question, I am not affiliated in any way with the game granadoespada. Its not that kind of setting for a MMORPG which I like. BTW something I forgot to mention in my introductionary was my Gaming experince. I have started with a Nintendo (at my neighbours), over my own Amiga 500 to finally my first 486 PC with awesome 66Mhz. I have played everything from Wolfenstein (was the first real 3D shooter) to Doom, then many RTS games and finally got hold of the first real MMORPG Ultima Online (in my mind the best of its kind before it got "destroyed" . After that I tried nearly every bigger MMORPG I found on the net. From Everquest to SWG, from Asherons Call to Vanguard, from WoW and Final Fantasy online to Lineage 2... I guess in the last months I have also tried every new MMORPG out there - at least in their beta. Everquest 2, Last Chaos, Guild Wars, Archlord, LOTRO, Vanguard and some more. But I guess Perfect World is the first MMORPG I got really "addicted" to again... I guess it has a very great potential and I see this game having a big success if translated and marketed right. Hello, im zythik ive been waiting for perfect world for about a month now but it looks so great i cannot wait! i have played other games like city of heroes, city of villains, guildwars, world of warcraft, secondlife and loads of others but i cannot be botherd typing them, when i get into the perfect world im gonna be a elven cleric the healing flying onse :D

Hello! iRL they call me Angel. Been a gamer for about 4 years since pRO came. After that, I played a lot of MMOGs, including some shooting games like Gunbound. Currently 23 yrs old, I'm working full time and playing part time on pRO Thor server. Since LU! Phil announced the CBT for PW, I decided to join this forum. Also, I'm quite excited to start playing this game since I wanted to join role-playing games. It's been something that my first guild did in-game and on our forums. And I think PW will bring that experience back. :d

so, here i am finally !! im sakorah, as you can see^^ or just short sako, thats also fine so there, my name is erich, im almost 20 years old living bit south of vienna / austria. i just finished the army yesterday *whooo HOOOO* -> more freetime from now on^^ but im looking forward to study starting in october. i know lady sciva and lord devil for ~two years now from their austrian gaming community and we played many things together (css - wow - l2..) and had a lot of fun doing that... lot of fun and now as i have more time, i just took a look on pw and wait like everybody for an english version. some hobbies im drummer in my own band -> www.hardenways.at (german site, but good to look at^^), snowboarding, going out with friends (cinema, for a coffee or so..) some games i play(ed) css, wow, l2, final fantasy *best rgp* (currently stucked at ffxii) c&c ... well, thats it for now i thing

Ok, time to introduce myself, I think. I am a 21 years old architecture student from Valencia, Spain. I am a rather quiet gamer, who loves to play MMORPGS; standard, rather oldschool RPGs, and RTSs. I devote to them my really scarce free time. Unfortunately, university allows me to have almost no time to live my life at all, so apart from friends, I have little time for other entertainments. This means everybody leaves my character behind in the experience ladder in a matter of weeks, as I advance extremely slowly trhough the levels. However, I love the philosophy around MMORPGs, and love to look for good games in the genre to play. Sometimes, I find them. Some times, I am deceived. The truth is I have tried almost all free to play MMORPG you can think of which allowed you to customize your character. I usually do not bother about games with fixed characters. If you want to roleplay, you need to create a character. You cant roleplay the same character and background all the other people of your class has. I tend to dislike pure Hack&Slash games, and ask for more depth. I consider Ultima Online, for instance, is a great model for a true MMORPG. Despite this, I am not so much inside roleplaying. I just need to know the game I play is something more than just useless grinding, a game where character interaction is both possible, and encouraged. Thats the reason I look for roleplaying tools in MMORPGs: these benefit interaction a lot, and both roleplayers and regular users enjoy interacting with other players. As I develop my character extremely slowly, due to spare time shortages, I do not use to be involved in guild issues. Lately, however, I have been joining several guilds, and enjoying my stay there. There is a guild I feel I belong to, which might be interested in this game, as I am. About me as a player, I can say I like support classes, because I like taking care of partners and strangers. I like to be considered "a scarce resource" and easily welcome to parties, as I have no time to waste looking for a party willing to accept a mage or another damage dealer  . As I said, I have little time to play MMORPGS. I love them, however, and this means I like to think about them, to gather all the information I can, to understand them, and to write and talk about them. As a proof, I can show a 8006 word long review I wrote about the last game I played, which looked really promising, but suffered heavily from very bad publisher decisions. As a forumer, I am usually of the "lurker" type. I come in, read everything I can, gather every bit and information, and stay quiet unless there is something I feel compulsory to say. I do like communities a lot, but unfortunately, not for long. I am usually one of the 20-30 people who start in a community about a rather unknown game. I love this stage of the communty, when everyone gets to know everyone else. Later, however, the boards start getting flooded with people and people, and I tend to refrain from posting. I hope you understand this attitude, but when I can't remember who am I talking to, I start to lose interest. At the moment, I think this text will do as an initial introduction. I am pleased to meet you all!

Well, I am only 15 years old (16 in may), live in Germany and, of course, am still going to school. I play MMORPGs, yes, but not as much as I play shooter and some others. My hobbies are computers, music, gaming and I like riding my bike. Since I was 10 years or even younger I knew I would become a game developer, well and I think I'm on the right track. I know basic things like HTML/JS/CSS, am learning C# at home and Java at school soon, I am VERY interested in hardware and I can't count the communities where I'm active. I enjoy playing Kreedz Climbing (a modification for HL2, beautiful!), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and mainly other shooters but I like the philosophy of MMORPGs and Co-Op games and think that multiplayer games are the future.
Maybe I edit this post and type some more letters about me, no time now.

Honey, I don't like to correct what u wrote but: U even don't stand beind our horse.. I clean it, u drink ur tea.. So.. The person who would get kicked is me.. But with the rest I agree, I also have no problems standing behind OUR horse, but would never do it behind an other... :D

So the summary is.......... don't stand behind a horse unless you have to.... For the rest of us, we don't have to worry about that since we don't even have a horse... and I don't think i'll be getting close to any horses in the near future...  heheh

Guess I can tell something about me too then ^^
Well... my real name is Moriko, a 18-year old girl currently living in Holland.
I was born in Japan, but me and my mother moved to Holland when I was one year old.
Don't ask me why, even my mother refuses to tell.
My goal is to someday return to Japan to meet my family
Anyway! I started playing MMORPGs when FFXI came out, played it for about a year and then switched to WoW.
WoW is starting to get a bit boring now as I always loved the exploring part of games, and I've seen everything already now so was looking for a new game when I came across Perfect World.
It is actually what I was looking for.
My hobbies are watching anime, going to the movies, stargazing and daydreaming.
My teachers tell me not to daydream so much but it's so nice so I do it anyway.
Following an ICT-study at the moment, I have no idea why because it doesn't really interest me but ah well
So yes... that's me ^^

After lurking for way too long, i decided to move out of guest status to one of the proud registered. So a brief introduction of myself and a pleasure to meet all of you.
I can't recall how old i am but my i.d places me in the early 20's, i'm what you call an old soul so i'll deny my youth at all cost. Canada is my homeland , and i'm a jack of all trades per se. Psychology is my passion but i enjoy construction and a little comedy to the side.
My interest sparked in rpgs back in the early 90's after i bumped into a couple console games that had deep story lines similar to the books i read. Since then i have been an avid fan of them and now Mmorpgs. To me the best games to date are Seiken Densetsu 3, Legend of mystaria for the Saturn, Shadowrun (sega version)and Vampire the masquerade. I have in the past had a 4 year on and off affair with ragnarok online and quite some time with lineage 2 on the hindemith server. But it is time to move on, and Perfect World has caught my fancy for some time.
Not much else can be said about me unless you want an E-date profile, but i reckon you can divy from my intro that i am fun loving and a complete joker when the time calls.
Hopefully you may spot me once or twice ingame when the time comes, but i am elusive !
Best of gaming to everyone and hope to eventually be a little siren, albiet the fact i'm a guy.
