I think against other players, if they knew your purely con, they would just ignore you and focus on other chars that could kill them.

But it would be good for PvE.

Which is what happens in most games, like WoW. Everybody goes past the warrior, but kills the priest or any other high priority target.

Playing:
Lunia OB

Waiting for:
PW-MY OB
Warhammer Online

In team pvp, it doesnt matter whether if u are full con tank or whatever. The Archers, Mages, Healers, Summoners are and first and foremost always the first and primary targets.

PW is primariy a team pvp game. The tanks protect the support classes with their stun skills whereas the ranged classes pick them off from long range.

There is no unbalancing issue here in siege wars. In siege wars, it doesnt matter how many u kill. So what if u are an archer and score an impressive 100 kills over a wuxia or yaoshou's 30-40. It doesnt matter because the team that breaks down the city's central defense structure will win. The primary role of wuxias and yaoshous in city wars are not to kill, their main roles are to rush breach the defense and destroy the central city structure. AND you cannot do that without catapults.

A very common rush and suicide tactic used by clans with overwhelming numbers of wuxias and yaoshous are to rush thru the gates with sheer numbers with the wuxias aoe stunning non stop while the yaoshous rush through enemy ranks with enemies stunned and try and take down the city structure.

And in city wars, u have no idea how fast mages archers and healers die. They die faster than wuxias and yaoshous. The melee classes dont just attack the ranged classes alone. They are supported by the rest of their ranged classes. Honestly, i think u would need to actually take party in city sieges before u make a comment as to why the pvp in this game is unbalanced. Every class or build has their distinct weakness and their own distinct counterparts in pvp.

hmm how could they ignore you if your bashing there heads in? I would think that if they were Magic types with low Physical defense, it wouldn't take much to kill them if you get close enough. But I haven't even played the game yet, so I have no room to talk...

They can't ignore you when you are the one carrying the catapult and destroying their base. Very Happy
