For example... a INT based character like human mage or wingelf priest but has sufficent STR and DEX to use heavy armors, can they use these heavy armors or are they restricted to only robe?
Also to weapons, can a mage/wingelf priest use a sword or axe if they have enough stats?
Because this would be very helpful to a hybird yuling... with high INT and decent STR & DEX for a decent heavy armor, it could cover yuling's weakness to archer's phycially attacks~

Yes to the armor, no to the weapons. Some weapons have class restrictions.
The priest can take on the archer if the archer didn't get the first shot off by shooting the priest in the back. The thing is, if you have enough str/dex to wear heavy armor, your magic attacks will be very weak. It's better to just use feather shield and then put phys def/hp stones in your armor instead.
