Haha well most ppl probbly gave up on the game after the release of the en ver since it isnt fun to start over... I'm getting my copy of Tabula Rasa on monday and will probbly not be on this forum after that

There are many different reasons why people are not posting here anymore, but they are not around here to tell us I would say that geographical and technical limitations plus language issues of PW dampered response of this game for players outside East Asia. And this group of people (outside East Asia) is this forum best situated to serve. The lack of a sizeable community lead to this forum's relevance diminishing. Despite inherent flaws in this game, my interest in it remain strong. I still play the game actively and has keep abreast of all its latest development. However, compare to July 2007, I am more reluctant to recommend this game to players from more advanced countries in the West. Game technology and development for games made in China would not be able compete with top American MMOPG for many years to come. Some MMOPG companies have now began to see the light and go back to designing games with lower technical requirement but with story involving plot lines spanning millions of words. I don't think any Chinese developers would be crazy to translate those games with 2.5D graphics for oversea market. But eventually they would put DirectX 10 interfaces to them when the living standards and average computing power of the China market go up. The issue of poor translation is not really a problem if they are unwilling to outsource to other countries. One Chinese MMOPG just did that, it sent their product to a place where high literacy and proficiency in both Chinese and English language can be found in abundance - Singapore for its English translation instead of relying on themselves. And the game a direct competitor to PW

Strange, that's NOT a reaction I would expect coming from someone who quotes from the Dune series.  Or do you just watch the TV-series and have not actually read the books?
