Hello Smile

I'm new in this game. Decided to try it because I've read in some forums graphics are stunning and it's something where I can test my new PC.

Well, I have some performance issues over there.

My rig is AM2 X2 5200+ @ 3hz / 2x 1gb RAM 800 @ 900 mhz / DFI LP mainboard with Nvidia 570 Ultra chip / 250 gigs HDD / 8800 GTX OC gpu / Audiy 2 ZS sound.

So, I've moved to the town, where my FPS dropped suddenly to 20. I thought, huh? Everythin was set to high. 1680x1050 res. Changing resolution to lower = no fps increase... all other effects ~ +5 FPS increase. I wonder why only rendering distance and water effect is way too heavy for my PC (if set to max.) When turned off i get ~ 60 FPS in town. And hmm, the weirdest thing is that even when i turn on that water effect, FPS keep low even if I am not near the water.

Hope it's not CPU related problem. Most of the newest games require rather High END GPU than High End CPU Smile

Any suggestions? Using 169.09 drivers.

Thanks Smile
Sakorah

as i know - you cant change it really. its the engine. and the fps-drop comes from the surrounded players (rendering distance). if the water effects increase the fps that much i dont know and cant really imagine. your sys-specs are more than enough to play that game.
