which cultivation quest? what lvl are you? these mobs are endbosses in dungeons. you need a good party and/or some high-lvl ppl to kill it.

if it's some wolf lord guy, he's not in the mine, but a bit further along the base of the mountain, in the middle of a camp surrounded by regular wolves.
if it's not him, it's an elite walking around the higher up plateau next to the house and the npc at the mines. In both cases, you probably can't solo em yet.
