All the stuff i'm thinking about buying this summer if i get a job will cost me 8142KR which is around 1246USD.

That includes 1 graph card but it is Crossfire compatible ^^

Zigbird what ever you do don't buy quadcore nor 8 gigs of ram
first there are little game supporting dual core its comming but not alot
Second quad core is waste of monney since its good for people who need to render stuff ur better with a dual core then quad core quad core is not supported for now ,and they are working on something else so the quad cores won't be running long...
And windows xp only allows 4 gigs of ram
at 8 it gets googoo gaga

uhm so stick with 4 gigs of ram
Vista allows 8 gigs but vista unstable like hell and also not much games can run smooth on vista
uhm also don't go for ati try getting Nvidia
my mobo allows crossfire to ^^but havn't bought seconds GFX card

I'm running a dual core 4200+
4 gigs of ram
Asus 2600 pro gfx card
and mobo that supports crossfire ^^

My brother has a ATI and it's working really good.

Also i'm going to buy 4gb because 8gb is to expensive right now.

I will buy quad core whatever you say because it almost costs as much as a dual core and is way faster.

The quad core i'm going to buy has been recommended to me by people who are gaming entusiasts (it's AMD's Quad core not some crappy Intel).

My friend is running Vista and it's stable for him.

Well i think that it's what you like yourself when it comes to Intel and AMD and i'm a servant of AMD wink

My current 1,6ghz Still works extremly good for gaming if i use a Geforce 6200 or a card simillar to that.

And i have 1 years waranty when buying from the shop i'm ordering from.

EDIT: the guys at Sweclockers also know what they are talking about wink You are able to overclock a AMD so it's like double as fast as it should be but then you need some inbuilt fans aswell wink

Zibird I do know what I'm talking about
I myself i'm running on AMD dual core ,And if you overcock your pc ,you lose your warranty +
It wont be running the same years as regual....
The way I see it your gonna destroy your pc in short time
Its not natural ...Better stay off overclocking
ITs like making a car build for 120 miles an hour run 160 miles an hour ,it can handle it for short time
Then it brakes ...
And just some fans won't cut I have 3 fans ,and temps are running smooth ...but i'm not having quad core
But reay most games run buggy with Vista and windows XP can't handle 8 gigs of ram
And the latest cards of ATI are crap ...I recked 4 ATI cards in 1 month since playing TR

The guy is gonna stop selling ati since its realy bad these days

Dear cyan i never said i was going to overclock and i will never overclock the only thing i overclock is my graph card by around 5-10%.

And the quality depends on which manufacturer that made the card there are several versions of ATI cards from diffrent manufacturers.

And it's not the ammount of fans that counts it's of big they are and how much they cool and where you placed them.

Also the temp in your room affects your comp.

And if you recked 4 cards in a month then so did you probbly do something wrong or so is it your PSU that isnt to good or your Motherboard that is broken.

I've had my current PSU and motherboard and memory & Processor for almost 4 years and they are still working really really good.

You know turning off programs that dont need to be running really helps because then your comp doesnt have to work as much.

and my friends uncle is playing all the latest games and some old games on Vista and he has never ever had a single problem.

And ATI and Geforce is just like Intel and AMD it's mostly what you like yourself that matters.

I agree with you there ,its all a matter of what you prefer
I myself prefer AMD ,ASUS and well ATI not anymore
But I just heard the guy sayd that the intel core's are better^^

Anyways I hope your pc will run fine ,maybe we can hook up sometime in TR then ^^

And I build my pc ,I have good stuff got my 630 PSU my Crossfire asus mobo and its running smooth ^^
Well 1 GFX card just died out of age was over 4 years old ( it was in my old pc,its was an ATI 9200 ) but wasn't high enough then bought a new GFX card a HD 2600 pro for my old pc ,but since they don't support AGP mobo's even thou they sell em for AGP couldn't use that one either :p then got myself the X1650 for AGP then my AGP mobo broke also out of age ,then I bought new pci-e mobo and now running a ASUS ATI 2600 :p and its running smooth ^^

Well anyways you know what your doing so ^^ I wish you the best ^^

You miss out a lot in PW though Cyanhide Smile

BTW I don't think that the graphic of Tabula Rase satisfies the need for such high end machines. I tried Tabula rasa on my rig (which is 8800GTX and 3.5Ghz Duo Core) and it didnt worked smoothly even though I found the graphic not really shining for how bad it ran Smile Engine is simply too old cry

Kind regards,
LD

I wouldn't say engince is to old
But i'm running its at 4.2 duo core,4 gig ram a Saphire HD 2600 pro ( asus version) And i'm running the game
at custom high detail evrything only thing I can't put on is deferred lightning ,64bit shading, dynamic shadows
so I don't know what pc you need for this
But the game runs realy smooth, and for the battles you see there is no lag ^^

Edit : Sorry LD I kinda addicted to TR so you won't see me at PW ^_^
