Aeria games is bringing the adult game Shaiya to the english community. I was soo happy to hear that. I found this game a long time ago and was sad I could not play it. The CB starts the week of Nov. 26/2007. Here is a link to Aeria if you want to sign up for the CB Aeria. This is rated an adult game because there is partial nudity with some of the mobs. Not sure if there are other reasons lol. It is free to play. It has awesome mounts. Here is a good guide on the races/classes/battlefields and some other info. Shaiya also has difficulty levels. Easy, normal, hard and Ultimate. In Ultimate if you die you lose your char and have to start over. More info on this hereWhen you create a char you must choose from two factions, light or dark. Well it certainly looks nice but erm.... i don't know. Maybe i'll give it a try. The armors look to "shiny" if you know what i mean. and how's the customization there? :D

According to someone on the Aeria forums you can customize your hair, face and height. Not sure how many options or anything. Guess I'll just have to wait until I can play lol. Also for any of the professions you can choose male or female. They are not gender specific. Im going to try to find some vids on youtube to post. Ok I downloaded the Viet version. Can't understand a thing lol. I checked out the char customization and you have 5 faces, 5 hairstyles and you can adjust your height.

Well I had high hopes for this game, but as I have already tried the japanese version of the game I can say that I didnt like it at all. It looked like a very low quality product (very bad animations, also the technical side of the game was bad). The whole word didnt fit together and looked like thrown together with some cheap editors. Sad but true, at least IMHO.

LD I tried the Viet version. Mind you I didnt go far in the game cause I couldnt understand much lol. Anyways I thought the graphics were good, especially for a free game. The skill animations were great as well. Out of all the games that Aeria has so far I think this one is the best. When it comes out Im going to give it a try. LOL @ Towermaster's post. That is great

Line age still better  This game have 2 alliance : Human , Elf VS Vail , Orc . There r 12 class but only have 6 class . Mage interupe 100% if eat some atk >_< Warrior have skill teleport + stun Cure status scroll havent coll down time Untimate char will deleted when die (you can buy cash shop to keep that char) After 3month havent any body play shaiya at VietNam

That is great Well if you are used to higher quality of games (FFXI, L2, etc.) it was simpy not comparable - it may be ok for a free game true, but its not enough, to satisfy my expectations  ! I wished it was better because I were blown away by the artwork and other things I have seen about it. But was very disappointed once I played it. In comparision to Shaiya, I also tried out Rohan Online -> I liked that much better than Shaiya (graphic wises, technical etc. and from the gameplay).

I find these type of games a bit too generic, look at some of the knight online videos. It looks as good as this one.. How should put it, FFXI was my only MMORPG until perfect world, and now perfect world'll be my only MMORPG until.... maybe virtual console comes out haha..

Everyone is entitled to there own opinions and everyone has different likes and dislikes  . Thanks for your opinions, its good to hear the good and bad of a game. That way people can read about it and make up their mind if they want to try it or not. I like to try games out first hand before deciding to play or not. So ill give it a try and see how the gameplay and graphics are. My graphics card is bad so some higher quality games don't work well on my comp or I just have to dial down which makes them look bad. So I play what works lol. I've gotten into beta testing games and have beta tested all of Aeria's games except LC, so I am hoping to test this one as well. That way I will know if I like it or not before OB starts and I can play around with the chars knowing they will be wiped anyway lol. I totally agree that Rohan looks better and I am actually waiting on an english version of it to come out lol. But who knows how long and if it will ever happen. So until then I guess Shaiya will have to do (or of course PW when it is ready). If anyone has anymore good or bad points to this game feel free to add your thoughts and opinions.
