In another topic, LD told me that he doesn't know any good EU publishers but Sony, Blizzard and NCSoft have setup shops and servers there. This got me thinking... that if three top (resource rich) MMORPG companies in the world has to provide their own services in Europe perhaps EU lacks good MMORPG game service companies. If that is the case, chances of a PW-EU is very slim because Perfect World do not have the money to operate all their game servers. Even in China most of their their servers are rented from data-centers. Anyone having experience or registered with EU game service companies care to share their knowledge here?  PS: I know about these companies deal with Asian MMORPG: Burda:IC Gmbh Frogster Interactive Gamigo.De Anyone registered or play games published by these companies before? Edit: Perfect World announced that since mid 2007. in China they have shifted from leasing servers, to owning more of their game servers now that they have the money to do so.

Well all I can say is that I know gamigo.de - they indeed have some foreign mmorpgs and games, however they have the size of flies here  What I want to say is that gamigo never had a real large mmorpg... only very small games were imported by them - thats also why I would not count them as a true and large publisher for game of PWs size.

Codemasters is a really big publisher they have several big games. Jagex is pretty big to (they are ranked 8 or something on the top 10 list) GameNGame is pretty big to but i dunno if they are EU

GameNGame is pretty big to but i dunno if they are EU Thanks Zigburd.  I forgot all about Codemasters. They are UK based and is definitely big enough. However they are handling a number of high-profiled games already so not sure whether they will be interested in PW. Jagex: I thought only develops and publish its own games (Runescape)?  GameNgame is a US subsidiary of the Korea IT Industry Promotion Agency (KIPA). In other words, it is operated indirectly by the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication. Korean government view MMOPRG as a strategic export and there is absolutely no chance that GameNGame would promote product from another nation.

Now if Codemasters can just skip straight to the "F2P" part in a MMORPG,I'm sure they'd be a decent choice.

Codemasters has made most of their games F2P and added item malls to them because they earn LOADS on Lord of the rings online @Towermaster yeah jagex only publish and develop their own game so far. And Blizzard only publishes their own games.(and blizzard has become retarded and has canceled around 5 games because they only focus on WoW....That's why there is no Diablo 3 now only Hellgate:london which is made by the creators of Diablo.)

lol they made RF and Archlord free because of the fact servers where running low :p
It had nothing to do with LOTRO and lets be honnost LOTRO will fail sooner or later
Codemaster has the realy wierd habbit to screw games up lol :p
