When I type in the link (or click on it from another website) my browser IMMEDIATELY returns an error... the domain responds to ping however. Since other people I have asked outside of my country are able to open it, what can I do about it? It's obviously a problem with the DNS server of my ISP. (It returns an error when trying to open the site so quickly that I am absolutely sure it doesn't even try to connect.)

I opened the site once after 30 minutes of trying and was fascinated ^^.

Any suggestions what I could do to solve my problem (beside the obvious call to my ISP company)?

I assume you are running Windows and using IE as the browser.
If the site respond to ping but not browser trying using another browser like Opera.
If new browser opens without any problem, then you may have a virus/BHO in your computer.
