I've gone to C:\Perfect World\element\userdata\server I've changed whats in it to ORACLE 29000:202.75.52.201 11 A server won't show up on the list This game is starting to be too much trouble to bother with

I too have had problems logging into the game. Two nights ago when it first opened up I had no issues. Last night I couldn't get in. I tried the following in the serverlist.txt file:
ORACLE 29000:goin.perfectworld.com.my 11
ORACLE 29000:202.75.52.201 11
I also tried just:
ORACLE 29000:202.75.52.201 11
and of course the original:
ORACLE 29000:goin.perfectworld.com.my 11
Eventually I got in using the original. Now I find myself unable to connect to the server again, no matter what I try. This is nuts. Any other suggestions?

You must have some network problems, because the original file works fine for me now.

Ok, I was soloing a boss which is hard already... Then I suddenly lag/freeze. I did not wanted to die... So i did force exit fast. And now I having the same problem like you :P I cannot connect anymore..... how boring... And when I let a friend login on my acount. My character was dead..... And my Internet is working perfectly except for PW... So it is a weird thing this " unable to connect" .

same here i cant connect, tried all the ip thing and finaly got on, i played for liek 5 min got to lv 2 then it begin to lag, and now i cant get on anymore

Yeah similar problem..... Couldn't connect with the original so i tried changing the server addresses Tried (ORACLE 29000:202.75.52.201 11) and when that didnt work i used the original (ORACLE 29000:goin.perfectworld.com.my 11) Tried reinstalling twice and still doesnt work.....

it happened to me to, but i noticed something strange.
while i cant connect to the server i cant get onto the official forum as well.
and once im able to get to the server, i can finally log into the game too lol.
this happened twice so far ... and right now ill be able to confirm number three (i hope) ^^

Happening to me too right now, it is odd really. Yeah the official MY site is down for me and I cannot connect to the server.

The same thing happens to me at random points during the day. Sometimes I can log in real easily, and others it may take Multiple attempts over the course of an hr or 2. No idea what is causing it, I checked the site to make sure there isn't like... foreign IP bans at certain times when there is a high Chinese concentration or anything. Nothing was said...

What this could be is a sort of random DNS problem. Sometimes it's able to be resolved and sometimes not. However, it could even be the Internet connection going haywire at certain times of the day. The servers are located far away from you guys. I'm hoping this won't be an issue and we're currently working on an alternative which could put ALL those problems behind us for good. But this will take a bit of time to work on and may be test implemented before going live.
Please keep your comments coming and if you can, give more details like where you are and when the problems normally occur.

Having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM here...
The game loads and patches correctly (yes it did a small patch), but then server list shows details as "--" The patcher says "none" on what should be Oracle Status, and i can't connect to the server...
Also, i went to the forums, like 20 minutes ago (too bad i didn't log in back then), but now i can't...
So yeah, it seems this is some sort of Server issue... The Website seems to work, which means the game and the forum share a common server??
BTW, I've played on the Chinese version of MY-PW, and i never encountered such problem...
So, i guess the problem is not distance...

Having the same problem at the mo. The weird thing is that me and my bf use the same internet connection (him on cabled pc and me on wireless laptop) but i can log in and he cant ... strange.
I cant see the official forum tho even tho i can log into game, vice versa for my bf.
btw we are in london uk
