What is a strong attack + good def class for PvM

Hey guys, i just want to be able to run around with my gf (who is a Yu Ling) and be able to kill things fast while not dying too fast myself. I ONLY play PvM, no pvp at all...and i will need to be able to take a few hits...though imo i prefer offense as my defense.

So i was thinkin amongst the 3 options...

1. Werebeast - i heard they were good meat shields, but hows their dmg compared to the rest?
2. Wu xia warriors - i dont know too much bout them...i think they're like the rogue/raider/stealthy class?
3. Yu Mang Archer - i heard in terms of power, they kill pretty fast...but def-wise they're not so great?

Since you have a YuLing with you, the defense shouldn't matter as much.

But I would get the Werebeast, since it was fun when I played it:]
