Just some random comments about summoner.
Pets of same type captured at lower levels and trained will have better stats than pets of same type at higher levels.
The pet food for the slot expansion quest is not restricted to just the ones listed in the faq on the first page.
It's easier to get the pet food for slot expansion as a different race.
The best pet type in water is a turtle.
Almost all special pets are horrible for tanking.
Every pet takes water for food.

What I meant was there're a lot of other monsters that drop the food for the quest. For instance, along with the earth dragon, the blue grass is also dropped by a deer, a turtle, and a fish. You only listed one monster for each food drop :p You also have a higher chance of getting the food drop when you are not playing as a fox but as either an elf or a human.

hi.. just wanna ask what is better...

the lvl8 windbug(little sawfly in PH) or lvl28 windbug(found in heaventear)

the lvl8 one having movespeed of 8.0

and lvl28 having 8.6

both having 0.6 atk spd

but the lvl8 having a much higher p.atk output.. considering the charts..

skills
lvl8 - lvl1raging atk and lvl1poison mist
lvl28 - lvl2raging atk and lvl2poison mist

or would i rather wait for the flying fox in lvl32

CHART

LVL8

LVL28

which one is better? im leveling the sawfly right now.. having more attack i think it would be better in duels.. i asked because i think movespeed would count too..

how do you get the charts? do you have to incubate the egg to see it or is there another way?

^ Eggs have to be hatched to see the stats. Also, to answer your earlier question about best pet, I only find the golem useful. Chances are very low that you'll fight a lot underwater or up in the sky. I just leave 2 spots open so that I can go capture the water/flying pet I need for when the situation arises.

@pervertfox: All stats go up as the pet levels, including moving speed. The lvl 8 bee will have better attack power than the lvl 32 flying fox... maybe better other stats as well.

@June: All pets have different skill sets and this varies even more depending on the pet type. Depending on the pet type, some have skills that are unique only to that type. You'll have to be more specific on which type of pet you want to know the skill set of.

and yeah.. i lvled a sawfly to 28.. to make things clear...

your right.. it has gained move speed...

here are the stats

and both lvl28 and both loyal(120% atk)...

sawfly has lower mdef, evasion and movespeed than silverwing the rest goes to sawfly..

im thinking of buying a skill for sawfly...

was it wailing cry that cancels spells?

and what skill does stun? like the white bear..

and i found a lvl31 bee near helltree(boss in orchid valley)...

** i found out that white bear has snipsnap skill that has stun.. but to no avail.. only that pet has the stun...

**im not sure what cancels spells... but is it worth to teach that to sawfly/wind bug?

Thanks for the build information Ice Water! My Yao Jing is my first character, and this has helped out a lot!

I just wanted to know if the starter pet I got earlier (the Young Wolf) is worth training with if I'm going to have other pets.
