Is it just me or are the basic wings faster than the level 30 wings?
My passive is lv5, 1.0 flight speed
I setup some distance that I can do consistently without interference or variation in distance
and on the average, I came up with the following:
basic - 58/59/58
lv30 - 63/63/63
All runs were performed using basic flight (not accelerated).
Basic is +0.0 with 2mp/sec drain
Lv30 is +0.5.
Does anyone know how this happens?

Thanks for the reply.
However I think I wasn't being very clear.
Sorry, those meant 63 seconds.
I took me 63 seconds using lv30 wings and only 58/59 seconds using the basic wings, which meant that they seem to move a little bit faster.
This is only for basic flight, not using the faster one.
Do you know why?

Passive flight skill doesn't stack with your wings. I know, it's incredibly stupid. I just found out a few days ago too and my skill level is at 8.. such a waste of SP and yuan when I already have the Ingenuity Wings which gives me a +2.00m/s speed.

To be more specific, fly mastery skill does not work with any other wings other than the white, starter wings. Unless you have money to burn to either support the usage of flight stones or to buy one of the higher end premium wings, the starter wings will allow you to travel faster with high fly mastery skill level.

So basically: - flight mastery is for basic wings - lvl 30 up wings run out after a certain ammount of time? Is this the "effective ...blah blah" number on the wigs' properties?

lvl 30+ wings do not run out after certain amount of time unless you got the premium ones that have time restrictions. It's the boosted speed that gets depleted if you use the boost speed to fly faster. You can replenish the meter by sticking flight stones into your wings, which can be acquired by breaking down equipment at the respective equipment NPCs.
Despite the speed difference, I don't find it very economical to use the flight stones.

on perfectworld.cc homepage, there is a screenshot of devil wings. do you get those if you go to the "dark" side(I forget the terminology for it)

Mhh.. if flight mastery gives +2.00 movement speed, won't that mean the starter wings are as afast as lvl 30 wings? seeing as they also give a boost of 2.00 movement speed? Or do the starter wings already have the +2 speed boost and the mastery increases it to +4 in total? And is it normal that when you switch from running to flying your movement on the char screen doesn't increase?

lvl 30 wings have 2 stats, normal speed and boosted speed. Normal speed is +1.0m/s or something so unless you start wasting flight stones on boosted flight, you will not fly as fast as starter wings at lvl 10 fly mastery.
Starter wings have +0m/s but with fly mastery lvl 10, you get +2.0m/s.
The speed difference isn't all that apparent over short distances unless you use the best premium wings with boosted speed.

The Tiercel (brown falcon-like) Wings you get after finishing a quest has a flight speed of 0.5m/s but there are also other level 30 wings from the cash shop with higher flight speed.

As YuLing I'd rather use white wings. since it doesnt take any MP to use for yulings. For archers they can use it too.. But rather use the SP on something else in the beginning, or else then spamm MP pots well while you using them as archer. PS. I myself using the white ones. Just cant be bothered to get better one in this versio anymore.
