Some tips - I'm only level 30 though
First of, It is hard to level Yu Mang till you get your Repulse Arrow. I only wore my amulet (Elder's reward for 1st flight) when I was at the Hardback tapir Quest aka Rho zhi Person + Horse

My build is pure DEX. I add STR whenever needed and don't regret anything from it.
This is my 3rd Yu Mang.
My 1st Yu Mang has wrong skill build + wrong stats
My 2nd has wrong stats

I only realized my wrong stats and wrong skills when I was 25+ coz I get no response whenever I ask for help/tips.
This tips is based on my personal experience.

Running fire is horibble at later levels. I only got Level 5 of it to serve as a filler, cause it is better than normal duh, and you can get more Chi from Running Fire. Aim is the one for your opening attack. I level this every chance I get. I didn't levelled my Glacial coz in my POV you are only after the slow but I might as well level this if I get more comments about it-Only got level 1 Glacial. Someone told me to leave Darting Serpent at 1 and max Piercing Arrow *bleed* coz its better. But I want my opponents to suffer from different kind of status so I still don't know if I will increase it's level-Only got level 1 Darting. A friend of mine told that I should max Repulse Arrow as it is helpful at high levels. I only have level 2 though. I'm going to consult a high levelled one if the distance increases at higher levels, One thing I know the damage progression of this is great! It adds damage quite nice plus the push back skill. I only have 1 Binding Arrow *Paralyze* coz I'm only 30, I need more opinion about this.

Some high level guy told me if I want to "own" PVP I should get Lightning Skill tree, but up to this point I still don't got any. He told me that I should level Falling Thunder and leave Wailing Sky at 1 coz it's better.

I have Wing Barrier at 5 and I don't regret anything. You don't run out of SP if you know how to use it
I have Wing Strike at 1 - Still no opinions about it.
Blazing Fire at every chance I get it, It still boosts your damage even if the monster is Fire element accdg to some.
All passives is a must.
Sheath of Feather (buffs) - MAX

My combo for most monsters is:

Aim - Running Fire (Cause it is still far *decent damage*) - Glacial (If melee)/Serpent (If ranged) - Repulse - Running Fire - Normal (Cause usually they die before they reach me again, if ever they do, I cast Wing Barrier then spam Wing Strike - does 700+ at level 1 or spam Running Fire if it is ranged.

Or if you're gonna hit some high levelled monster especially at the 3rd Esteem Quest. Which at my server is known as the Lucid progression

Aim - Running Fire - Wing Barrier + Same as above.

Hope I helped somehow Coz when I was still starting I don't have anyone to help me. It is hard to research about anything in this game.

You can use the reward bow up to level 32 and then craft your own Chain Lightning bow or the level 35 crossbow.

I have my reward xbow with some level 4 stone in it. LOL!!

cause your lvl of the bow is too low. there are three types of arrows...from lvl 1-15 16-somth and high-high...its not the lvl of your char, its the lvl of your bow.
