Until now, I have designed about 6 houses of different characteristics, a group of residential/commercial buildings filling an area of 2880 m^2, and a kindergarten. I am now busy creating a small school.
None of these will ever be built, of course. It is only my third year studying to become an architect. In Spain, architects are not only limited to the "artistic" side of architecture. Here, architects control the whole proyect, from the start to the very end. Structure included. You learn also history, and more cool things like 3d modelling
So this is the reason I have almost no time to play. I am always designing something, drawing plans, or calculating how thick pillars should be to keep my buildings away from collapse xD
I'd love to hear about the tools you have under your control for house and city building. Architects in spain also study urbanismn, so we can design entire cities or city districts (I am busy with one of them right now). Maybe I could have a look at planning the New Dawn Guild city I am sure we will build...

Nah, until we are told about how things work in city building and house building, these will always be dreams. I am really interested in hearing about them. Which degree of freedom is allowed? which kind of system is used? I think we need a guide on these.
