I got a little question on pet stats. If you tame lets say a level 5 turtle, then level it up to 20, and then you tame a level 20 turtle, will the level 5(is now 20) be stronger than the lvl 20? I would find out myself, but I'm hoping someone would already know. Just curious to see if taming a low level pet and leveling him would be more beneficial than taming a high level pet.

We probably won't know until we hatch our own eggs cause when you tame a pet it becomes an egg

Then you have to hatch it, but I don't know what level it comes to you at, I'm not sure if mine came at level two fromm the start, so maybe it's in some kind of proportion to your level

Didn't it say somewhere that the pet could never get a higher level than the character who has it? I'm sure I read that...

I have yet to make a character who can tame pets so I can't say for sure, but what darklordryu said makes sense if the above statement is true. ^^

yeah lol you probably read it in the guide that I made lol

I'm pretty sure you ahve to at least be the level of the pet to tame it, and it can't surpass your own

Yeah, I already know all the basics and I tame pets myself. I was just wondering if there is a difference between a tamed level 2 pet leveled up to 20 and a tamed level 20 pet. In some games, the leveled up pet would be better, or sometimes they're the same. I'm just wondering if I should tame low level pets or go for the high level ones. I already have a level 21 summoner, so I have a fair share of taming and stuff, but I never really leveled many.

If you want, I can make a picture guide into taming a pet.

It would be nice if you would actually answer my question, but here's an answer to yours.

To dismiss a pet, first find the pet trainer and click on the second option.

Next, you'll see a new window with your pets up, and another small tab. Take and drag the pets picture you want to dismiss into the little box on the tab. Click on the left option and it'll take about 10 seconds for it to dismiss. (you'll see on the bottom of your screen like a casting timer)

I'm trying to find a decent pet to fill in my second slot. cry

The pet tamed at a lower level will be stronger in the long run, but...you do have to upgrade their skills by going to Grandma Golden Flower in the Ancient Dragon City and purchase 'New Pet Skill Books', or 'Pet Skill Upgrade Books'. These books are pretty expensive, the new skill books range from 300,000-700,000 game coins, while the upgrade books (will upgrade an existing pet skill) cost 200,000 game coins. So if you don't have the money, and you don't have the patience, it's better to tame a higher level pet (as they usually have higher skill levels but less health and less defensive powers than pets tamed at lower levels.) For pets underwater, it's best to tame one close to your level and replace it with a higher one later. Very few quests are done in water, I'm currently lvl 73 now, but my turtle is only lvl 56 (I probably used it for 3 or 4 times all this time.)

And it would be nice if everyone answered all my questions, but they don't always go that, that's why we ASK questions on this forum and politely wait for people to reply, and we thank them when they do

Which is why I want to say thank for uploading the guide so more people will know

And thanks for the info on the skills meangirl, it's nice to know that it's at least possible to upgrade the lesser pets if you're willing to
