The first and most important step in all this is making sure you are a Yaojing, the Werefox class
Otherwise, you can't tame pets
The next step after making your Yaojing is to get it up to level 3...this is easy, just kill stuff with the poison(?) spell set to F2 ^_^
Once you hit level three, press "Q" to see your active quests, and click on the one that's listed on the left box, all the way down, for me, it was the third line of chinese text. You should start to see a yellow marker floating in the sky (Spin around if you don't see it right away)or, if you looked at that quest window, you'd see a set of coordinates to go to so that you can start the quest
The coordinates are (257,644)
Follow your arrow if you get confused/lost
You should wind up in what looks like a city, there will probably be lots of people there, so maybe a little laggy for some
Get to the coordinates, and talk to the NPC who looks like she has a yellow flag icon above her head
In the textbox that appears, scroll all the way down to the very bottom, and chose the line of characters that is
2nd from the bottomThen, in the boxes that appear after that, choose the options that have the yellow dot next to them (I believe they were the topmost options each time)
Now the quest has really begun!
EARNING YOUR EGGOn the left hand side of the screen, in somewhat transparent text, you shuld see something that looks like random chinese text and then 0/1
That 0/1 is an item you have to find
On your minimap, use your common sense to determine what direction is south, and then head that way, you should be leaving the city, out into the wild, again, going south
Now, I'm not positive about this, as I don't understand much Chinese very well, but I believe that the creature that you kill determines the kind of pet that you will get 1st
You can kill either the wolves you see, or the scorpian looking guys
I killed the scorpians, and later wound up with one, but I see many people with the wold, that's why I believe you can get either
At any rate, simply kill the mobs and pick up the items until you pick something up that makes that 0/1 on the left side of your screen go to 1/1
Head back to (257,644)and talk to that same NPC again. Scroll all the way down and pick the second to last option again, and again, click the options that have the yellow dots next to them, and then the quest should be completed. If you look at your items (Press "B"
you should see what looks like an egg and two books
HATCHING YOUR EGGTalk to the NPC again, select the top option this time
Drag the egg from your inventory window to the little square in the left window
Make sure you have at least 20 gold (Kill mobs if not)
Now press the left-most button, and your egg should be hatched
Talk to the NPC one last time, and now choose the second option down, you should see one of the boxes in the window that pops up looks like it has something in it, click on the picture, and then click on the middle button in it's little box, and your pet should appear next to you!
