I was wondering if we could use range attacks, even if just to pull. I've been using Sudden Dragon to pull monsters as of late, but you have to get way too close for my liking so I was wondering if there was another way to pull monsters.

I believe it should be possible to use a low level bow. Maybe thats a good way of pulling?

But then you would have to switch in the weapon every time right? :/

Later on when you get spear skills, they're long ranged.

Sudden Dragon gets longer range the higher level.
Sword and Spear have their own long range ability though.

3rd skill of Spear type wuxia has the longest range skill.

Right now on lvl 14 so do i use a Bow a 2 star lvl 6 bow that i made myself ^^ i can deal up to 600 dmg before the mob is near enough for melee ^^ (i shoot almost as much as i hit with melee) And you wont loose as much hp since the mobs wont be able to hit you so much before they are dead  So my tip to you now is to pick up a good bow ^^ You can put the bow into the quick bar and always have arrows equiped. And you can also put your melee wep into the quick bar :p I'm currently trying to do a lvl 13 2 star bow (i just need to find some logs )

dragon apperance gets to 10m when the skill is maxed as jhay mentioned, spear wuxias get the longest ranged skill attack for wuxias. Hell spear wuxias get an improved ranged skill attack which is basicallly a souped up super long range version of back thrust....a whopping 18m...

You have to switch weapons right? how do you switch betewen them effectively?

Lots of people do the axe and spear build later on for lvling, means switching weapons when you run out of aoe skills in one weapon and use aoe skills from the other one. The ranged attack (回马枪） from the spear skill tree is one of the most powerful skill in pvp. Sudden dragon is also a must maxed skill cause its your only range attack in pvp if you don't have spear, or if you do a 2nd one wouldn't hurt, often finishes FS off with these skills.
