Graphical problems with graphics card / onboard graphics and drivers and game engine.
It happens. At least they know now and maybe provide a broader range of support in future.

your gfx card looks a heap better than mine too...i wonder if it's a glitch on both our comps, or if someone is maybe tweaking the chars to look like that.

This has nothing to do with your graphic cards. It's just the way some people create their characters like. You can change an option I would call bodymass (or maybe fatness). Reducing it to zero will result in such a picture. And no, it has nothing to do with the English patch -.-"

Well the fact that it has a limit on how much you can decrease your body mass means what you are suggesting is impossible without hacking the game and then it would only be clientside. By having a client in the previous version of the game while certain players are showing their fasions clothes from later episodes could easily result in this. So it is likely due to the english patch...

You can edit your character to be something like that. I've tried once and did almost something like that. You can't edit within the game since the slider limitations. You have to save your char and edit the file using notepad instead. Then create new char and select the file that you have edited. But the thing is, when you select confirm the char revert back to normal body proportion instead of the new one. So, I'm not sure how they made it possible in-game. Maybe a possible hack or someting I'm missing?

that's kinda bad if you can do this - being near-on invisible would be pretty useful for pk chars

They would probably get owned by AOE skills though lol Dont think there wearing any armor So just imagine alot of half invisible bodies flying around

That's really creepy.. I bet it's just because of the english client. I wouldn't know why they'd offer customization like that..
