OK i tried reinstalling and redownloading 5 times and still no dice i cant even manually update it lol When i auto-update i get this i cant even get passed the buff_str.txt part of the patch lol  This is what happens when i manually update First this is 1 of the manual patches  Then this is after i double click it  So any ideas on how to get it to work?

Just my 2-cents (I am in no way a technical expert..): Have you tried switching update servers? You can do this by clicking either on the button "Settings" or "Setup". (writing this while at work...so I cannot verify which of the two buttons it is). In the screen that pops-up after clicking one of these buttons you can change the settings. HTH, Aran

To make sure you have the correct update url, go to your PW directory\patcher\server\updateserver.txt and check if the content are the same as mine (i can connect to the patchserver fine.) Code:"patch" "http://patch3.perfectworld.com.my/CPW/" It's weird that you can't run manual update. Try changing the patch setting to not connect to the server automatically... I don't think you need a connection to the patch server to be able to patch manually, it kinda makes manual patching useless <.<

run a ping patch3.perfectworld.com.my command from the command prompt, it should be able to ping the server. should look something like this Code:Pinging patch3.perfectworld.com.my [202.75.52.197] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 202.75.52.197: bytes=32 time=485ms TTL=47
Reply from 202.75.52.197: bytes=32 time=460ms TTL=47
Reply from 202.75.52.197: bytes=32 time=359ms TTL=47
Reply from 202.75.52.197: bytes=32 time=358ms TTL=47 if you can't, then something is blocking your patcher from connecting, check your firewall

was it able to ping the server or not? i'm runing out of ideas. has it ever been working for you? if yes, what did you change since then? do you have any free space on your hdd?

Where did you download your client files from? What is you operating system? What country are you trying to connect from? What have you done to offend the mighty perfect world gods you evil creature? xD Another option would be waiting for the north american release (CB coming 19th august)
