I'm new to this game and im thinking about making priest mainly for dmg than healing/support do you think that priest will do good in a dmg build (for PvP fights)and if you think it'll work which skills should i max and how should i spend stat points?

yes it will work, priests acually have kinda good damage unlike most other mmo´s. However if your planning to become one of thos priests that will refuse to heal in a party just roll a mage instead. The high damage is nice when soloing or every now and then in a party but since priests is the only class with an effective heal, healing will always be the main aspect of a priest. as for spells i used only plume(archer look) up until 40ish or so,cyclone is usable but i atleast didnt find it that good. the DoT spell for me seems useless(normal mobs die too quick and on bosses i think others are more efficiant) the ligning spell is the new plume once plume starts to do less damage. finaly our lightning aoe(late 50 or so) is the goldmine for all that like high damage numbers, smiled last night when i did it again to mobs a warrior friend was fighting, it did 22k damage at level 62 :D to sum it up, Yes we have some nice damage BUT if you have no intention of ever healing dont bother, you will be expected to heal.

Usually when i play an mmorpg i always pick a support character and go it a bit dmg wise. But i'm planning to play with my friends so i'll heal and i know this is priest's main purpose but i just wanted to know if i'll be capable of dealing some dmg too. Since i'm planning of playing PvP (mostly).

I wanted to ask if i'm going for int priest so i should aim for magic set (magic robe etc.) right ? Which wepon should i choose and how much strenght should i have at lvl 100 ?

put as much str neded to use the highest weapon all the time, dont remember the what the amount is att lv100 but the green lv60 sword is around 36 str or close to that. and yes if your goinging the Int route magic robes is what you will use(wont be able to use anything else) since you wont have any agility.

Yes but i'm asking which kind of magic weapon should i use ?
Banner Staff, Magic Sword, Jewel Quoit or Wand ?

the best one :P as they have all diffrent levels. for example staffs may be levels 22,32,42,52 while swords might be 26,36,46

Priests are not the best for PvP, especially out in the open field. For that, the best is probably the werebeast.
As for weapons, look at the stats on the weapons. Some may have higher max attack value but also lower min attack value. Others will have more consistent attack values. Personally, for me, I prefer the sword because it look nice. The staff always needs +1 str than what you would have normally. However, if you managed to get a 3 star staff, then by all means, use that. After level 60, it'll probably be best to stick to the magic swords. At lvl 90, get the gold magic sword.

If you're planning to create an Int Type priest then you should use weapon with hi minimum damage since you're priest will not do crit damage because of low crit % (1% crit damage - you can have crit attacks with ratio of 1:10). For armors - magic robes, I would suggest to fuse HP stones for your armors to add more HP and in order for you to survive longer in duel/PVP. For your build, HI Int means hi magic damage so max your int if you really want to make your priest do great damage (always remember that Plume is a physical type skill so you can use this to kill Mage or Werefox wearing magic robes too, for Werebeasts and warrior use magic attack skills such as cyclone, or any kind of lightning skills since this will do great damage to them). You can also MAX your Int up to the minimum requirements of the weapon you are planning to use when you reach lvl 100 or higher than 100.

i have an int priest,my cons is 9 lol...but believe me,combined with a buff that i have is more than enough for surviving having a excelente damamage and revive/healing in PW
