I'm interested in both. I like the concept of fast killing, which is Archer, to my understanding. But supposedly archers (good ones) are only able to be used by rich people. So my second choice is Werebeast. Should I go with archer right off the bat or do werebeast first, get the hang and the feel of the game, make some money, then make archer my second char?

If I have to choose between them, I would rather go in between~
which is WuXia = balanced killing & tanking ability

Archers eat up money extremely fast so yes, they are used by rich people. If you use your 59 skill, you will be burning mp at a rate faster than any other class.
Wu xia or werebeast actually kill faster after a certain level because they can gather mobs and kill many at once. The cheapest and easiest to play is probably the werebeast. They end up having so much hp that they can survive without using hp charms.
