Unfortunately, you do it ingame, so you can't customize it anymore.

Ah, alrighty.
Well, now I know to take lots of screenshots for the face in order to get the characteristics similar when PW-EN comes out. XD
Thanks again. ^^

The folder \element\userdata\character\ has .ini files of the last modified model of every class - you can copy this ini files into the apropriate \customize\ subfolder and load it with the client. Let's say you want to recover your las modified yaojing model - go to the character folder and copy the character31.ini into the customize\31\ subfolder - now you can load the model from the client.

I must test this; I was wondering what those files were since they were just floating around in the "character" folder, and not within the "customize" one!
Edit: Soukyuu, you are completely right! Thank you very much for this insight~! <3

Yes, I agree. The information you've provided is very useful and should be edited into the first post. It'd help keep things easy to find. ^^

I did a bit of testing and found something out, or at least I think I have. I welcome someone else to test this theory and confirm it. When you are in the customization screen and you simply "save model", the default filename's structure consists of numbers and underscores. The name structure, it seems, limits the newly saved model to the class it was created under. For example, if one makes a Female Fa Shih, and then saves the model, it will have a default filename. If you copy this file and paste it into the folder corresponding to Female Wu Xia, then enter the game and go to create a Female Wu Xia, the saved model is not available. However, if you take the Female Fa Shih and rename the file, put it in the Female Wu Xia folder and go back into the game, you will now be able to select and modify it as a Wu Xia. I've only tried this with one character - I am relatively sure this works. By Sokar's post, he uses a renamed file of "Romeo.ini" for his examples. All I've stated in this post basically concurs renaming your model files; it's easier to remember "who" looks like what, and seems to remove race as a limiting factor, aside from the Werebeast limitation. This post can be seen as redundent I suppose, but I just wanted to expand on why renaming your models is useful. It may not be a good practice if, when PW-EN comes out, they only accept the initial filename consisting of only numbers and underscores. In which case, it may be a good idea to take a screenshot of your newly created character and name it with the initial filename to keep a straightforward "archive."

I have also noticed that if you decide to export settings to different classes, like one you made for your yuling to say, a yaojing, you might notice that it may not be as good as you might think. Although settings are similar, like the obvious things like hair type and various colors you use, the overall look and feel and ratio are not the same. So it is better to further edit, or save your settings for the same class alts.

Well here's a way to go back and redo your character if you so choose... I haven't tried it myself but i see no reason why it wouldn't work. if you have the .ini file saved from the method described, open it in Notepad, then copy all the details there. Then create a new one (more recent since i assume it would be dated so it could tell you you cant make changes to it after 2 days) and open that one in notepad as well... but highlight everything in that one and paste the information from the other one. save and load it in the game... the only problem is... >.< its a new character so you wouldnt have your stats.. but you could edit what it looks like at least... Me personally... i want to figure out a way where i can make one type of character look like another... say... make a Male human Warrior look like a male Elf... see? Sorry if this wasnt as helpful as some of the other things here...

After you edit the values in notepad, you can't change it in game anymore, otherwise it'll reset.

You get a quest item at lvl 28 to change your looks, but you can't do the textpad thing anymore.
