I'm ALWAYS short on cash. I spend most of it buying pots, which is needed if i dont want to die every 5 minutes. How do you people buy, for example, a silver vital hierogram? I really want one, but dont have the cash in a looooooooooooong way. When im asleep, i open up a shop but no one buys my stuff. And its not even that expensive. I spend so much on pots that i dont have enough money to level up my skills. Have skillbalance over 100K. Just dont have the money to upgrade.
Tips please?

agree... Perfect World largest problem will be financial i guess... we need gold to buy pots... skills...even teleport... almost everything needs money... but the monster... take for example... lv19 monsters... only drop 60-100 gold coins.... where pots.... especially mana pots... 240coins... heal only 330 mana if i'm not mistaken... this has been a problem espaecially also for tankers and EA.... it's trus we can collect herbs to create pots but still it's insufficient... and skills cost tons of money.... quests give a small amount of gold and larger amount of EXP... what i actually seek is that atleast when we train of quest.... we will gain enough gold to buy pots no more no less also is ok.... but the thing is i'm not earning the money but i'm using that much... well i guess perfect world isn't that perfect at all...
a sad EA because of financial problems...

Get a EP to buff you up with Celestial Guard Hierogram (Blessing spell) to increase your hit point and mana point regeneration rate before you go hunting. Also cast Wing Barrier whenever your vigor gauge is full. Over time, it will regenerates more mana than it cost to cast Go resource gathering whenever your mana is low...let it recharge while you gather up the materials. Master of the Pearly Tower

I buy a hierogram for 200-240k. I then proceed to level picking up my phat lewt until it ran out. I ended up with over 550k in DSQ drops npced alone, not including gold drops and equipment. This is coming from someone who spends 140-250mp per spell.

I recall a time during Closed Beta where players were complaining bitterly about how foolish we were to have 'ruined beyond repair' the economy of Perfect World by 'flooding the market with gold'. I know a fair number were going to boycott the game because of the awards we were going to give out. In any case, I have gotten a WB to 29 so far (on Delphi) without using anything from the item mall (Admittedly I cannot yet tank the 29FB because I lack Earth Defence). I'll try an EA next because the cost problem will be .... well... challenging. Potting is indeed expensive. If you pot constantly to level, then you will surely have financial problems. Just sit down and rest after a fight or two using your 'Za-Zen Recovery'. Happy Gaming!

If the regeneration would be a little bit faster then OK, but i dont fight 20 seconds that i have to sit down one minute... there is no fun but i dont have Problems with Money. I dont need full hp and mp, i can defeat 3 mobs then i take 1 potion and after 10-12 mobs and 3-4 potions i use the recovery!

EA especially cant earn that well... so yea... have to admit that Perfect World for me aint that perfect... haha.... and i'm not good at crafting and sorts.... skill points also i'm short... it's like really killing 20 seconds and rest for one minute... is patience everything? but well i guess posting this wont make my char rich... but just IMHO... peace...

They almost force you to buy Cubigold. I'm a lvl41 WR and i NEED pots, or a hierogram, which i cant afford. I spend ALL my cash on pots and dont have any left for Skills. So im growing weaker by the level. I tried buying Cubigold but offcourse i cant because im not Singapore/Malaysia.
This sucks, hard.

I'm a 45 warrior and mostly what I've done is all by myself. I guess I had cb as an experience to teach me to save items from the very beginning and not waste money on all skills. For example I didn't learn lions roar (Bad choice I know) or that very first skill (saves you around 100k-ish not lvling those 2 at first). What I do is sell dragon quest items. Also I'm in a guild so the materials I gather I give you our guild blacksmith and when he crafts good items he keeps the for me. Also guild members share the rare items crafted/found. There are some people who actually reward you with exp scrolls and hierograms if you do fbs for them. This one random girl we did an fb for gave us all exp scrolls for helping her ^_^ I suppose my best advice would be. Join a guild, a good one and stick to it. Also make ALOT of friends thats what an mmo is all about. All the items I get are usually from them. Fashion clothes/armors/weapons. In turn I give them the materials they need I help them quest etc etc. So it works both ways ^_^ Hope this helped you enough, as a fellow warrior I totally sympathize with your frustration right now because I went through it. I completely hated warriors for a while but once you get use to it they turn out pretty decent :3

Money comes to you more easily when higher lvl. Item drops are more expensive and you can farm fb and HH for mats to sell in stalls. You can buy gold or cubi from offgamers.com for NOT THAT MUCH money. Then build from there. Buy some cubigold and sell heiros...become rich. Or buy 10m in game gold for about 28$

ermm i just share my exp here, i leveled until 8x and i didn't spend a single cent on cubi, during early level, patience is needed unless you're filthy rich and could use pot non stop/buy hiero, as for me, during lower level, i kill and sit and rest till full and then do it again, playing EP i have a skill which slows mob and i just cast that skill, run, cast, run, cast, run until it dies, its no fun at all but thats needed because i'm the kind that doesn't spend cash on games......
and how do i save money? i collect every single item no matter its 120bucks or 20bucks, or 2900bucks....i take them all and go back to town everytime i'm full to sell and then goes back to level, that way i could save up quite some money
then the best tips is....you must know wat can be sold and wat cant, you dont expect to sell an equipment with no good stats even though its super cheap no one bothers to buy... if u do have DQ items, dont sell to npc, try stalling them with slightly higher price, i got my 1st bucket of cash selling those, and in between you'll find out wat sells the most and fast, then u starts collecting them and selling them, just routine this and keep finding out wat sells and wat not, good luck to you, oh and btw like someone said, early games are hard to earn money, and dont even think that level 90mobs will drop 10k gold, its still the same old 50-400gold, and for EA its well known that you'll have some difficulty with money but as u level higher you'll start to see some cash, for me, i have about <200m worth of cash and items.....good luck

Never played an EA , have a priest 40 and werefox lvl 35. The basic secret is this:
Farm DQ items , sell for cheap as possible. For example on Oracle blunt claws average 6k, most of these morons have 40+ , that will never sell. You farm yours (fish outside the fishing village) and sell for 2.6k to 3k, it ll unload in 30 minutes or less. Furth places like the Hero Tomb , you can farm 3 or 4 stacks of silk thread (100 per stack)and sell lower than the current market.
There is more you can do to earn money quickly. As an elf (archer, or priest) you have access to sky at a very low lvls. For example at 20, you can spent 45 minutes to 2 hours nothing but resources.
In an ideal guild setting you ll have people often times higher than you who will make your items. You then just farm what you to make your item , then sell or donate the rest to the crafter.
EA are kinda lame , I see alot of them complaining about arrows and stuff. You can make arrows , often you can pick up arrows left by everyone else in the field. You can also if in a guild find people , who pick up the arrows to sell and buy them from them.
My lvl 20 mage outside ADC picked up 6k arrows in an hour and 8k bullets in 2 hours, while I doing gnomes for elemental powder for a clan mate.
You can also save money by investing in Vital heirograms. Classes like Priest, are gods when they got both. a Priest requires bronze for hp and silver for mp. You can farm ghouls in the tomb as Priest or Mage , get tons of Dqs.
I dont suggest crafting hardcore til 50. The reason why is post 40, you can make do with military items (the priest armor is good into the mid 50s cost 10k , is 3 stars and 2 sockets.) Further more you get items cheaper than it cost to make on the auction house. For example boots , and gloves require about 10k in items to make. You can often get good boots and gloves for less then 4k.
if your class like say werefox , you can make do with white gear often times less than 1.2k on auction house. Some items to spend money is your post 30 weapon. Its better to invest in either 2 star or 3 star socketed item. The best way to do this is often 1) Guild hand me downs 2) have a friend guild mate craft it 3) auction house , again a good lvl 41 wand 3 stars , 2 sockets with lvl 4 stones cost me 120k buyout. You can always remove stones by the blacksmith as well.
The last thing to do to save money is do an euince , you do nothing but farm light gear mobs (specially ones you can 1 shot or 2 shot) and do only euince quest for that day + afk selling.

Ok, my financial troubles are forever over! I farm for the guild, which brings in about 500K a day. =)
