I assume you already have obtained some "fresh meat". If not, this is dropped by Altiplano LeechDrake. This mob can be found at Echo Desert roughly around coordinates: (238.576).

Next you will have to pick three flowers, which can be found around a camping site, at the coordinates: (210,583) (209,587) (213,592).

Then you need to set up the trap at the fire inside the camp, and lure the mob that appeared into your net.

Nope,

the Lupine Wolven Cub will always remain a cub.
You can level it up though.
But if you want a grown wolf you will have to tame a full grown wolf.
Note: many players agree on the fact that the Lupine Wolven Cub (or the EditVeins Scorpion Spawn) is going to be your best friend till your char is around lvl20. Most WF's change from pet when they have reached lvl20 and switch to the lava golem.

May I suggest that before you will decide on taming another pet, you take a look at this(link below) site (it is French, but the pictures and the data for comparing the various types of pets are clear enough (I hope).
