for me, it meant strength. the reason why im asking this is because my warrior is now lv10 and is learning the skill stream strike. however, they say that i do not have enough strength to perform that skill. so, what determines the amount of vigor we have? what do i have to do to increase my vigor? please help me. big thanks in advance.

welcome! and vigor isn't someting you increase or decrease. After cultivation quest some skills and normal attack give you vigor when you use them. You have a bar under your char name in top left that fills up yellow for you it will max at 99/100

So as you attack and do some skills you will gain vigor and when you use skills that require vigor it will go back down again.

Vigor is not related to any of the stats

Vigor is the translation used for the Chinese term "Yuan Chi". This can expressed as "Original Breath".
In Chinese metaphysics, Yuan Chi is transformed to different forms of Chi such as Wei Chi (defensive).
Chi can be stored in parts of body like reservoirs.

In this game every time you hit a monster or use certain types of skills, you acquired Yuan Chi (vigor). Certain skills used up a certain number of vigor points. At least your body reservoir can stored up to 100 points of vigor (as a yellow bar). (This expressed the transformation of Chi to some useful forms.) As you go up in level, eventually the limit will go up and each 100pts of vigor is represented by a "ball".

If you problem understanding this transformation of Chi concept think about the most abundant molecule in the physical universe: H2O.
It can exist in three common forms: liquid water, ice and water vapor (gaseous).

It means that you can't attain the skill because you haven't performed your esteem quest.
