Found this while looking for Anima on Google. Apparently it is now called PRIUS.

This shows that it has a 3 character system of some sort. Cant read it myself hehe. Looks like you control 3 characters, The player char, an anima char and a giga char. That's my guess lol.

Nice emphasis on 'big mobs'. Kind of liked the giant summons vs. giant enemies fights; very 'Godzilla/robot mech' like.
Graphics seemed decent as well.

Question is....any decent PvP?

The '3 character system' works this way.

First Character: You, the player character.
Second Character: Your Anima (appeared as a little girl) whom you can’t control directly but her actions are determined by how intimate you are with her.
Three Character: The Behemoth (this is a temporary translation I made up) which is summoned by your Anima.


There are 3 races and 6 professions. However ability is affected by your gender, even if you are of the same race and profession. In other words, male and female are not equal

I read of other things on this game concerning PvP, Rituals. Star Signs and ‘Barracks’ (not identical to GE/SoNW) but can’t vouch for the correctness of them so I won’t say anymore on features.



The game is not ready for prime-time yet, even for Korean. As of Nov 2007, this game has been under development in CJ Internet for 2 years and 7 months.

The latest "closed beta" is really little more than an “alpha test” since it lasted only 4 hours and testers are only allowed to login during 5pm to 10pm Korean time.

My guess is Prius OL would not be ready for release before 2008 and at a later date than Aion. The first country for export after Korean release would probably be Japan followed by China or Taiwan.

Hey Towermaster-san x3 . Thanks about the info about yume sekai I was just randomly browsing about it x3. Hmm you're serious about Aion getting such good reviews? It does look like a really inovative game besides the whole grinding those big monsters look so awesome :3. About Lineage 2 I share your exact opinion, its an amazing game truely one of the best mmorpgs but it just lacks content to be such a long game. I personally preferred playing on high rate servers which eventually just ruined the storyline for me since I didn't follow it. lately though I heard that they implemented a new race in L2 it was some sepiroth look a like elf. The ones that have one wing and have long swords, looked pretty cool but not much to get me interested.
I suppose Aion will eventually not be as good as it looks, I mean I got the same dismay with Perfect World, when you anticipate a game it eventually ends up much worse then you thought it would be. However Anima is one game I'm going to look forward too ^_^. You don't have more information about the game style do you? I really wonder what the point of those big summons are because they seem to be pvp themed only o:

Yeah I haven't been here much because usually all I do is play on Perfect World xD I can't wait to hit territory wars :3. Still though I'm sure I'm pretty soon going to quit the game Too much drama wherever you go, not that other games won't have it =_= but *shrugs*

The English version is published by Nexon America itself, so service should be good.
If you like 'cartoonish' MMOPG, Nexon is perhaps the best Korean developer of this genre.
The monsters have higher AI than your average MMOPG mobs. Your can compose music of your own and play them in this game.
During the 2+ years the game has been released, it has received a number of good updates.
The Chinese Mabinogi servers are not very responsive from my location so I look forward to play in the North American one since I have to stop playing Dungeon and Dragon China once Shanda start charging money for it, therefore freeing one slot of game playing time for me

Speaking of Shanda, they are co-developer with Temco on Dead or Alive Online which will made a China only exclusive release before Olympics and maybe we will see Company of Heroes Online also (Shanda co-developing with COH creators).
And oh yes, I expect at least a 3 to 6 months F2P period for Aion China in 2008 (courtesy of Shanda again)
