With potions in the game, can a group get by without a healer, or without a tank? Or is this the kind of game where you need to have both in a group.

For most bosses, you'll need either a tank/healer or a werefox with pet.

Are warriors decent tanks later on, or will a werebeast be necessary?

I think Werebeasts will be more favored eventually.

Sometimes potions just don't get the job done when you need a party for something.

Now do you understand...this is what it means to kill things...

You usually need both tank and healer. Sometimes you 2 healers in case one of them dies. Btw werebeasts aren't always tanks for all bosses. There are bosses that use magic attacks making a mage or priest a better tank than a werebeast.

In most games, if the healer dies, the tank dies. In PW, one could probably survive with the HP/MP charms, but they cost RL money.

I think that both tank and healer are needed. A healer can't tank and a tank can't really heal, so they depend on each other.

There's a difference between favored and required though ;3
I level in a group of friends, and so far no one seems to be inclined to play a werebeast. I just hope that won't bite us in the ass later on.

hi!! :D

I think Priest is the more want it and more important people in any Party. Because without 1 ou maybe 2, any pt can easily finish in somes dungeon. For my exp in the game. For shure we can have a nice tankers... but i don think they can handle all by themselfs.

Priest is like the heart or a brain in any Pt... She can maintain the pt alive. If she stop soon or later the pt will die.

I can even say that i LOVE priest Angel

Tank comes in 2 variations in this game.

mdef tankers, people that wear full robes, usually mage and werefox int build that go for this. I tanked many magic bosses.
pdef tankers, warrior/werebeast.

Werebeast will be favored later on due to their high hp/pdef which is higher then the warrior in most cases, also note that werebeast has better tank abilities and some bosses require a werebeast pretty much ><
