I never had any connection problems until last week suddenly I could not connect anymore. I just realized though that was around the time I had changed the DNS servers on my network connection. While those new servers seemed to work fine for finding web pages, they turned out to be the problem for connecting to the Perfect World game server. Now that I switched my network settings back to my official ISP's DNS servers I can once again connect. I didn't try any of the methods described above for changes to the serverlist.txt file, but it certainly seems to be some type of DNS routing issue. I hope this information is in some way useful.

I too have had problems logging into the game. Two nights ago when it first opened up I had no issues. Last night I couldn't get in. I tried the following in the serverlist.txt file:

ORACLE 29000:goin.perfectworld.com.my 11
ORACLE 29000:202.75.52.201 11

Try changing the second ORACLE to ORACLE2. It worked for me. It makes sence not to have the same server name twice.

People said my problem is normal because my perfect world is working perfectly. wen i put it on i can select server and try 2 log in. but because the close/open beta is happening no1 at the mom so ill wait untill the announcement which is next thursday, so i have been told

I cant wait 2 play perfect world again cause i just started it and i made a mistake of creating 4 characters,wr er, ep and mage so wen its back i want to delete the al and jus have 3 characters, wr,wb and i think mage or ep
2 keep it simple

you will have none of you chars you had. they all got deleted with the closure of closed beta. everyone has to start and create a new character when open beta starts.
