Wth :/ everytime I launch the client and I get to the character selection the client crashes....The weapon is deformed and looks like a hand. I've checked if it was the patcher, and everything seems to be up to date.
Thank you for the siggy Dasha

what the........... a flying head demon of some sort?... that's one of the weirdest graphic-type glitches I have ever seen. Definitely could be messed up graphics, perhaps unloadable textures...etc. High probabiliy of corrupted files if you've managed to play without problems earlier.

What's your video card rhiannon? I hope there's no compatibility issues with your card and the game.

Might I suggest if you have more money to spend to get a Nvidia series 7 like the 7300/7600 GT DDR3. Believe me it will do wonders for PW. But the catch is that it uses a PCI-E slot and your motherboard should have it. If your board uses an AGP slot then I guess the 6150 LE would do. Btw it would help if you have at least 1GB of RAM if you want the PW to play in high setting with little slowdowns. Just my 2 cents.

Moriko!! Nooose Well...(don't reveal meh :P). Ty for the advice Shenron. Problem is I am running on Vista with 1 GB of ram so I am going to have to get another gig of ram most def. The 7 series will work really good? Good enough for pw :P I was thinking maybe the 8 series because it will drop down in price because of the newest card that just came out.

Series 8 I think is better yet more expensive. So you're running windows vista? Did it come pre-installed in your computer or did you upgrade from xp? I heard that PW might run slightly slower in vista compared to xp. Make sure first that the driver for the video card is compatible with vista cos you might have problems. I've encountered a few driver problems with certain cards in the past due to vista but I can't remember which ones they were. They were sometimes resolved by downloading an updated driver. But I suggest checking if the card you're getting is compatible with vista first on the nvidia website.

Yeah Vista There was no choice but to go to a store and get one. All CPU's are forcing Vista now it's treacherous. Thanks for the advice Will look into it.

Just be glad it runs on Vista at all....... A lot of MMO's can't even start up on Vista let alone be playable. It's just not the opportune time to use Vista. Maybe like a year or so???.... heheh... oh well..... if it works well for you...... then great.... I should bug them for a Unix based client??...hahaha.............
